Black Swan Patented HONEY COMB® Barrel

Our HONEY COMB® Barrel has a medium toast staves engineered with CNC router, and has a “House” char, where the body has been charred to a #1, & the heads to a #3.

Two stave finishes in one barrel.  Both are patented

The barrel has a combination of both HONEY COMB® and cross-grooved staves for maximum extraction rates and accelerated maturation.  Both the cross-cut and Honey Comb staves open the end grain of the staves to the extraction of wood based flavors and sugars.   *TTB approved.
