The invention of the Squarrel leverages the high demand on the resources of aging forests and inefficiencies of traditional, barrels to create a whole new solution for aging and even dispensing aged products from wine through whiskey to beer.

The stainless steel frame provides a skeleton to hold sealed replaceable wooden panels.   These panels are engineered to meet or exceed the surface area and extraction qualities of traditional all wood casks.

The depleted wooden panels can be replaced with new panels or panels made of non-traditional woods such as apple or sassafras.  These panels can be tuned to your specific flavor profile from the most delicate wines to alternative whiskey or beer finishes.  The cost of the sterilizable stainless steel frame will be recovered after the third to fourth filling and the repalcaement wood panels are a fraction of the cost of commodity wood barrels.
